Big Chico is a great artist with a powerful voice and a superb multi-instrumentalist as a harmonica player and guitarist, with tremendous refinement and good taste! "My New Blues" demonstrates Chico's new phasing and production, with a great cameo from the legendary singer and guitarist Lurrie Bell Chicago (one of the best in the world today). We think that this is Big Chico's best work to date. His Chicago blues have been polished, yet remain quite credible. The guitar playing (by Rodolpho Crepaldi) speaks to the listener and Chico's harp adds just the right touches. The rhythm section is synced-up, completing a real good offering. Grab this one!
